About the Buffer Zone Protection Program

The Buffer Zone Protection Program is a grant program designed to provide resources to State, local, and tribal law enforcement and other security professionals to enhance security of priority CI/KR facilities, thereby making it more difficult for terrorists to conduct surveillance or successfully launch an attack from the immediate vicinity of a potential target.
